Makena Landing Turtle Intro-Tour

Makena Landing tour is ideal for first time kayakers, families with kids or those who just like to have a casual trip! We paddle along the beautiful Makena Coast with it's black & white sandy beaches, snorkel at famous Turtle Town and enjoy spectacular views of Molokini Crater and neighbor islands. Turtle sightings are guaranteed!!! The tour leaves Makena Landing at 7:30.

     Makena Landing Turtle/Whale Watch

We will explore Makena Bay with it's beautiful little coves, cliffs and black sand beaches and search for turtles. Then we paddle off-shore and look for Bottlenose & Spinner-dolphins and Humpback Whales. There is no better way to watch jumping dolphins and whales performing breaches, spy-hops and tail slaps then up-close from your kayak!!! We'll snorkel 2-3 times at Turtle Arches, Manta-Ray Point or Five Caves. Turtle sightings are guaranteed!!! Tour leaves Makena Landing at 7:30.

     Molokini  Express

This trip is an adventure of a lifetime!!! It's awesome, it's challenging, it's an accomplishment you'll be proud of! We leave from Makena Landing at 6:00 AM, watch the sun come out while gliding across 3.6 miles of glassy ocean and arrive to Molokini crater before all the other tour boats. We spend next hour exploring the crater, snorkeling, paddling around the back wall! After a nutritious snack we set on our casual paddle back, look for dolphins, whales (Nov.–April) and turtles. A small group (max. 8 pax) is guided by an experienced guide and followed by a ecsort/rescue boat (which can take kayakers on board in case of sea-sickness or exhaustion and bring them back!) This trip requires good physical fitness and has a weight and age limit. Total paddling time: approx. 2 1/2 hrs.

     Sunset Whale Watch Paddle

There is nothing more peaceful and romantic than paddling your kayak into the setting sun! We leave 1½ hrs. before sunset either from Makena Landing or Olowalu (mile marker 12), then paddle along the golden beaches and look for breaching whales. These amazing giants are usually most active around sunrise and sunset!!!
